Gorgeous views, very peaceful. There's a store where you can buy some mementos and gifts for your visit. There is so much to choose from. The drive out to the island is littered with relaxing scenery and sweet ocean air. There are a few places to check in for an overnight or two.
The store is nice and has lots of gift items or just for yourself! The outside view is AMAZING!
If you're "out that way" you got to go. Amble parking, amazing variety of mech, and then..., there is the view. Ya can't miss it, but if you do, you'll be in the ocean.
Worth the 20 minute drive from Brunswick! Right at the end of the island so you have some great views before you ship and shop you will!
They have a Ton of different items for sale and most are hand crafted not cheaply made like most other gift shops!
It is an incredible gift shop that has any Maine souvenir you can think of. A friendly staff is super nice and helpful. Be sure to visit the mariners' memorial.
Loved it! From sea glass art to finding fun little oddities. The staff were friendly. The store is discuss with a downstairs & upstairs of items to from from. The views of the ocean from the store are fabulous! They a also sell cold drinks which come in handy in a hot day.
There are chairs on the decking around the store & it literally is right on the ocean.
